The last of my purchases from Quilters Corner

The last snow of 2010??

Sunday night, 11:15 pm

Monday morning, 10:45 am 

Matthew, snowblowing us out.

Higher than the new snowblower! 

We got at least 2 feet,

maybe closer to 2 1/2 feet in some spots.

But, I did get to sew today!!

Monday, 6 pm and NO SIGN OF A SNOW PLOW!!!

I actually ran back in to

Quilters Corner because I forgot to grab

a FQ of this awesome fabric!

Selvage Kindle cover!

I was lucky enough to pick up a Kindle

last week at Staples.

So far I love it!

Of course, I immediately set to work

making a cover/case for it!

The back:

I set the velcro too far in..... 

and although it worked, I added

a piece of rickrack and a button! 

Love it!

Quilters Corner

we turned a corner and were both

immediately drawn to this fabric!

We kenw we had found the

backing for her T shirt quilt!

in this wonderful store on Sunday.

It was recently featured in the Fall/Winter 2010

issue of Quilt Sampler Magazine!

I met Merrie, one of the owners who

was delightful to chat with.

If my daughter Marisa becomes a student at Cornell,

I have already found my new home away from home.

From amazing quilts hung throughout the store,

to an incredible assortment of fabrics,

this store is a treasure!

We found out today that our son, Matthew

has been admitted to

Syracuse University School of Architecture!!

It has been his dream forever to attend Syracuse,

and we couldn't be prouder of his achievements!!

I've been searching....

I don't look at all of them daily,

but I do look at each once or twice a week
