Adventures of a Novelty Fabric and Selvage Obsessed Quilter

Glad you stopped by!

I am a busy wife and the mom of 19 year old twins, a boy and a girl who are Sophomores at Syracuse University.

I have been quilting since the spring of 2008. I love novelty fabrics, colorful and unique.

Selvage quilting is addictive! Who knew the "junk" we cut off and threw out would be what I now save! I started a new tradition when I travel--visiting quilt stores! I particularly enjoy going to stores that have been named in the Quilt Sampler Featured Shop Lists-

What I've been doing.....

Selvage Wall Art!

I've been swamped lately...
kids graduating,
getting the kids ready to leave to work at camp,
and having our basement finished into our
home based office.
My husband and I own an
insurance agency, which effective June 1st
was relocated to our home.

Construction is complete, and we moved in lst Friday.

I put the finishing touch on today
by making Selvage Wall Art to conceal
the alarm box!!

A few photos along the way:

Making the Selvage wall Art was simple

I stapled selvages to the fme back cardboard,
popped it into the frame
and voila!!
