Adventures of a Novelty Fabric and Selvage Obsessed Quilter

Glad you stopped by!

I am a busy wife and the mom of 19 year old twins, a boy and a girl who are Sophomores at Syracuse University.

I have been quilting since the spring of 2008. I love novelty fabrics, colorful and unique.

Selvage quilting is addictive! Who knew the "junk" we cut off and threw out would be what I now save! I started a new tradition when I travel--visiting quilt stores! I particularly enjoy going to stores that have been named in the Quilt Sampler Featured Shop Lists-

Black and White Selvage Zinger

I didn't want to go away without posting a quick picture.
I love how Susan at Mouse Creek quilted it,
and I look forward to finishing it when I come back
from our cruise!

I wish everyone a wonderful holiday,
and a Happy New Year!

  3. Happy Christmas Jill! Love the Zinger! You keep inspiring me to collect enough selvages to do something like this.... right now I've got enough for a very large pincushion:-) or perhaps a small bag:-)))

Have a safe and enjoyable cruise, and in ref to your last posting.... surely all you need is LOTS of handsewing, one swimsuit and a dinner dress!!!! Enjoy!
