How I did it:
I sewed up the two sides, and then sewed
three inches in to create the bottom-

Tote sewn together:
Lining sewn and in place:
Zigzag to join strap together
"ruler" trim:
Adding "ruler" to cover raw edges:

Black edging sewn on:
