I blogged about this quilt back in April.
I needed to machine quilt and bind it,
but I was waiting to get my Sew Steady
extension table.
I quilted it about a week ago, then realized
I was short on the brown fabric
I wanted to use for binding.
I had originally bought it in Lancaster, PA.
A quick internet search and I discovered
had it in stock, and we could easily stop there
on our way home from the Philadelphia airport.
I called, and they set aside what I needed.
I stopped in Saturday, and discovered
that it was a terrific bustling shop, with
a great selection and helpful staff.
I will be bringing it tomorrow,
when I have lunch with Sophie's mom, my cousin Lisa!
Oh, Jill. What a stunning presentation that is with the ribbon tied around the gorgeous quilt. I've never seen that, but now I will always add ribbon when I give a quilt to someone. Thanks for the great idea.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to share that idea on my blog.
