I am a busy wife and the mom of 19 year old twins, a boy and a girl who are Sophomores at Syracuse University.

I have been quilting since the spring of 2008. I love novelty fabrics, colorful and unique.

Selvage quilting is addictive! Who knew the "junk" we cut off and threw out would be what I now save! I started a new tradition when I travel--visiting quilt stores! I particularly enjoy going to stores that have been named in the Quilt Sampler Featured Shop Lists-

Quilt Sampler Fall/Winter 2010!

I picked up a copy at
Mouse Creek Quilts
on Saturday.
They have an ad in this issue of the magazine!
So exciting!

Also exciting is the fact that my blogging friend
Melinda
works at one of the featured stores,
Tiny Stitches in Marietta, GA,!
It is hard to imagine their excitement level!

I spent time over the weekend perusing my new issue,
as well as some back issues of Quilt Sampler,
which I have never gotten around to reading.
Knowing I got all the back ones on Ebay,
I felt no rush.
Now, I discovered I am still missing one-
the first issue- 1995.
The hunt is ON!!!

    Oh My Gosh, is it time for the fall edition of that magazine, it seems like I just picked up the spring one. Thanks for the heads up, I'll be on the lookout for it. I just love that magazine. I wish I could just buy a subscription and get it mailed to me.
